Izi is an alert and eager-to-please type of dog - a bit "cracy" now and then only like an aussie can be. We hope that Izi is going to continue to enjoy working and that she continues to develop a loving mentality. Izi is co-owned with Riitta at Kreivi's kennel which means that Riitta is free to decide to mate Izi one time. We compete in conformations events (dog shows) and we are planning to compete with her in obedience and tracking when she is ready for competitions. OBEDIENCE/TRACKING OBEDIENCE Date: 2007-10-14 Place: Tibro BK Results: 2:e price (148 points) - - TRACKING Date: 2007-09-15 Place: Tibro BK Results: 159,5 points. Comments: This is a competition that includes both tracking and obedience. Andreas and Izi attended the competition today to see where they stand. Izi did quite well and ended up just 0,5 points from being approved in the competition and we are more or less content with her performence.

HERDING Izi och Andreas has been to a beginners-herding at Fätorpets kennel. Andreas started herding ducks to get a feeling for the animals pack behavior and to feel how close you need to be to the animals for them to start feeling the pressure and therefore move in the direction you want to. Than Izi got to start herding four sheep in a box with wooden edges. In this scenario we got to see Izi's interest in herding. Than the sheep got to move into an enclosure and Izi got to work unleashed around the enclosure to show how she managed to balance tha sheep. Finally Izi was back to the wooden box with Nina, owner to Fätorpets kennel, and got to show how she acted unleashed with the sheep in the box. Izi has some herding in her but listen too much to her master and take few own initiative, but otherwise she did well.
